“Beat The Heat”
2021 Summer Tournaments
The goal with “Beat The Heat” is to provide bowlers with some cheap and fun tournaments to bowl in during the summer. This is achieved by having some funky formats for tournaments that you typically won’t see anywhere around.
All of the tournament information is posted below!
**The Summer Fun Doubles tournament has been cancelled.
There will be a 8 Pin No Tap Tournament on July 26th to replace it. More information is below.
2021 Lemon-Lime Summer Long Doubles Tournament
Our popular summer long tournament! The best part about this tournament, You can bowl it ANYTIME you want, however many times you want, with whoever you want. You can only cash ONE TIME with the SAME PARTNER!

9 Pin No Tap (Handicap)
Do you ever get frustrated at leaving single pins or can you hear the 10 pin laughing at you after a great shot? Well in this tournament, you don’t have to worry about it because if you knock down 9 pins, it counts as a strike!
Entry Fee: $30.00
Format: Bowl 4 games on the same pair
Pay Ratio: 1 prize for every 6 entries
Handicap: 80% of 200

Drop Your Low Game
Have you ever felt that if it wasn’t for that one bad game you threw that maybe you would of done better in a tournament and took home some cash? Well in this tournament, if you have a bad game you don’t have to worry because it gets thrown out!
Entry Fee: $40.00
Format: Bowl 4 games moving 1 pair to the right after each game, with the lowest game being dropped. (Best 3 game total determines winners)
Pay Ratio: 1 prize for every 6 entries
Handicap: 90% of 230

Low Ball
This tournament is like golf, the lowest score wins! If you throw a first ball gutter ball it will count as a strike, and if you throw a second ball gutter ball or miss it will count as a spare. This tournament is great for corner pin practice.
Entry Fee: $25.00
Format: Bowl 3 games of qualifying, cut to the top 8 bowlers for a 1 game elimination Match Play!
Pay Ratio: The Final 4 Bowlers will cash

8 Pin No Tap - Sport Shot Edition
Have you wanted to bowl on a sport pattern but didn’t want to spend a fortune on entry fees? Then this is the tournament for you. This tournament was designed to introduce bowlers to sport patterns in a fun and competitive environment as well as providing a practice session for some bowlers to sharpen their skills.
Pattern: PBA Mike Aulby 39’ (2021)
Entry Fee: $30.00 per bowler
Format: Bowl 4 games on the same pair. Knock down 8 pins or more on your first ball and it counts as a strike.
Averages: Averages used for this tournament will be the bowlers highest average from the 20-21 season converted to a sport average. (I.E. A 190 average bowler will use a 164 sport average)
Pay Ratio: 1 prize for every 6 entries
Handicap: 80% of 200

The Fall Tune-Up
